The Oregon football team began spring practice in the Moshofsky center Tuesday morning. LaMichael James did not practice - he is expected to participate on Thursday - but Jeremiah Masoli was on hand. Masoli took reps both at quarterback and wide receiver, and Kelly said his role will be to simply help out in practice in whatever way is possible.
